Learn stand-up comedy at the Fringe, and support the Free Festival while you are doing it. The Laughing Horse Offers courses throughout the year aimed at getting people who want to try stand-up comedy to learn the basics and get up on stage - and these courses are also available at weekends and on weekdays throughout the Fringe, suitable for complete novices, existing comedians wanting to improve thier skills, or actors and mucisians wanting to improve thier crowd interaction skills, or to move into comedy.

We also run a seminar for Teachers and those who teach others, about using the skills of stand-up comedy in teaching - run by comedian, and University lecturer Kevin McCarron.

Although these courses are not Free, all profits from the courses go towards the running costs of the Free Festival.
