Welcome to the 2008 Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival |

| The
2008 Free Festival will run at seven fantastic venues across Edinburgh from July 31st to August 25th 2008... with some additional shows running right through to the Start
of September. We are currently finalising our
programe, which will feature nearly 160 shows and over 2,500
performances in 2008 Come back to this
site at midday on the 20th of May when our full programme will launch, containing the best in
Comedy, Theatre, Music, Childrens Shows and Dance - all for free! |

The
Laughing Horse Free Festival Venues were established in 2004, with the aim of making the
Fringe more accessible and less expensive for performers - and also to provide top quality
shows for Fringe-goers at a bargain price. All of this in professionally run and equipped
venues, and bucking the trend of the larger venues who's prices increase year after year. To

The Free Festival
Venues cost a large amount of money each year to run and organise - some of this money is
recouped through Sponsorship, Advertising, Comedy Courses, and our own shows. If you would like to
