| Situated on Hanover Street, this dark and gothic venue is
right in the heart of the New Town - literally just around the corner from George Street and the
Assembly rooms. |

 Decorated in a Gothic style this busy bar has skeletons and related macabre items
'hanging around' the walls. The floor has differing balcony levels and the toilets can possibly be
found hidden behind an imitation bookcase...  Fringe shows are held in the Basement room "The
Crypt" decorated in the same style as the main bar, and makes for a truly unique atmosphere to
watch great Fringe entertainment. 2008 will be the third year of shows at this venue.
There is a fine selection of drinks - beers, wines and spirits (plenty of
spirits in this place) - and you must try the 'Seven deadly sins cocktails'... |
