Situated on
Buccleuch Street in the Southside area of Edinburgh this Meadow Bar is located in the
heart of the area of Edinburgh most associated with the Fringe - on a main street 2
minutes walk east from nearby venues on George Square and 3 minutes from the Gilded Balloon,
Udderbelly and Pleasance Dome on Bristo Square. it's also just down the road from our other
free venues at the Pear Tree and Counting
House.
This is the 4th year
the Meadow Bar has been run by Laughing Horse as a Free Venue, and once again the venue will
be full to the brim with some hilarious comedy, and also some fantastic music. Featuring
16 shows throughout the day,with perfrormers returning from last year, some new faces, and the
return of the intimate late night comedy club starting just after 1am each morning!
The venue is intimate
and stylish. There are a wide variety of drinks, and spirits and food is available
right the way hrough the day. Do you want to send an email? There is also a small Internet
cafe in the downstairs bar.
