Tick the Box are proud to present to you a new and exciting comedy
show for the laughing horse free festival at the Edinburgh Fringe. 'Placement Crisis'
blend stand up comedy and sketches. Written and performed by new comedy talents
Christopher Billingham, Dan Doolan, Sam Fletcher and Tom Chettoe, the show presents 4
students staging a show to fill their university work experience quota and passion for
laughter.
Our 4 rising students will each bring unique humour into their stand
up slots, influences ranging across a variety of stand ups will present a number of
amusing outbursts that widen 'Placement Crisis' to appeal to all audiences. The stand up
sets will be delivered with both the enthusiasm and distain for life that comes from
individuals who need to be funny to make or break their living because; well…this is
literally the case. The sketches will introduce a variety of amusing characters and
situations derived from the life experiences of the writers. As well as the hilarious
story of how they ended up at fringe performing a show instead of being stuck in an
office; 'Placement Crisis' will present characters from the imaginations of 4 students on
a scriptwriting course at Bournemouth University.
 These students
need you to see this free show, a show that doesn't exist for the usual reasons. The
performers aren't producing 'Placement Crisis' because it might make you laugh, there
doing it because it has to make you laugh. Watch these 4 fresh talents showcase different
styles of stand up and an array of sketch show characters in order to graduate and not
waste your money and theirs on university fees. You have nothing to lose, they have
