This debut show includes stories about growing up in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Being the only girl in a family with three older brothers and coming out to a mother who makes wedding dresses for a living.

Being mistaken for a bloke and followed into ladies toilets by men. Comedy inspired by observations of life in the West country and Brighton, where people are so 'right on' that on application forms there are boxes for everything…straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and then "other"…and asks what else is there? Transbeastial? Will NHS funding become available for people to live as their inner animal?

"Intelligent stand-up that is instantly engaging. Truly fabulous" BBC

"Has that oomph needed to take an audience along with her…A natural" Chortle

" Ms. Jepson is an arresting and animated comedic presence. She mixes bubbly, conversational and wonderfully pithy stage patter with an array of comic voices whilst persuasively guiding the audience through her curious worldview with a disarming charm." Sheffield Star

"Cheeky northern comedienne Julie Jepson had the audience rolling with laughter at her observations" The Argus (review of Holland, Hume and Someone Else. Edinburgh preview in Brighton, 2008)

"It's so refreshing to see somebody so devoid of cynicism…and very funny" Mitch Benn.
