The only standup comedy show to fuse Icelandic revolutionary history with
London survival tips, Dog Day King is a collection of thoughts from Icelandic comedian
Snorri Kristjansson. Having gotten to the final of the Laughing Horse New Acts competition
in 2007, Snorri is now the resident host and compere of Laughing Horse Soho. Dog Day King
has been in development for 5 months, with performances in several countries. Well, two.
So come see international comedy sensation Snorri Kristjansson! It is absolutely worth
your while.
Snorri Kristjansson was born a while ago. He then lived all over the world in various
countries. Well, two. Iceland and Norway. There's a bit about Norwegians in the show as
well. He's been at various times a journalist, web designer, computer programmer,
caretaker for ill people, teacher, cement packer, longshoreman, musician, writer, actor
and, most recently, a comedian. Relocating to London in 2005 after getting into LAMDA,
he's spent a large amount of time observing Londoners from outside. Not outside their
houses, because that would be illegal. Some of these observations will also be in the
show.
Icelandic comedian Snorri Kristjansson would like to tell you about his country, adapting
to life in the UK, terrorising KFC staff, Noddy's laughing child disappointment machine
and that time he met Jude Law. Oh, and puffins. |
