Siren Turner will debut at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007. Her
one-woman show ‘Belly Dancing in Leeds’ is a comic account of coming out of the
wilderness. Forced to come to terms with her past; her habit of inviting useless men into
her heart and an ongoing inability to recognise her true worth, Siren soon realises that
she’s bringing certain situations on herself. She decides to take action by looking
very deep within and finds enlightenment in the most unlikely place - every Tuesday night
in fact, in a community centre two doors down from the chip shop.
