douggieed.jpg (37446 bytes)Apocalypse Wow! tells the story of a retiring Prime Minister (William Hampstead) giving his final speech to the press, before he steps down.  It is his last half an hour as Prime Minister and wants to address several topics that have come up during his time in charge, and have caused controversy on the way.  William feels that this is his chance to set the story straight, whether it be his views on his funding towards the ‘Gay Rights Movement’ or the purchase of France, he has opinions that he would like to express to everyone, so that his legacy is left untainted, and he can retire, safe in the knowledge that he is definitely a living legend.

It’s not always been easy for William, after both his mentor (Tony Blair) and his predecessor (Gordon Brown) were both sectioned, the complications of the birth of his first-born causing bizarre disfigurement to his beautiful daughter, Anne; and the heavily documented unpredictability of his suicidal wife that is also a world renowned painter of the dead.

Born and raised in Surrey, he has only ever eaten organic produce, prefers radio plays to the television and is very fond of gardening, the colour blue, basil and cricket, as we are all aware, after the controversy surrounding him in the match fixing of the Ashes that time, to which we are still awaiting the final verdict.

His main political ambition was and always has been; “To do good things”, a few of which will no doubt be reflected on during his final speech, but I don’t want to discuss them here.  There are some, but I will tell you later.

As well as the library that will no doubt be built in memory of the great man, there will be several Podcasts issued before the speech, as a bit of a build up, to gain greater insight before saying goodbye.  Details of this will be issued shortly.
