wpe16.jpg (10133 bytes)On a long drive through desolate terrain a woman is drawn to an out-of-the-way town. You'll laugh, cry and applaud this woman's journey as intuition and fate conspire to force her to face her own frailties. But, when faced by evil, is she up to the challenge? "Amy, Fate and Me", a compelling one woman drama, is based on Sandra's life. It's a character study of a lost woman.

"...a wonderful job of acting. The story is enthralling" - Daily Republic, '10

Written and performed by Sandra Risser: Sandra has acted for over 20 years performing such memorable roles as Maude in "Harold and Maude", Romaine & Woman in "Witness for the Prosecution" and Miss Clairee in "Steel Magnolias". "Amy, Fate and Me"  is her first foray into writing. It's a story she knew she had to tell.

"Everyone's raving about "Amy, Fate and Me" and your dynamic performance. We hope you'll return for a full run." - Mira Theatre Guild, '10

Directed by Roberta Tibbetts: Roberta received her degree in drama from U C Berkeley and trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She's acted and directed for over 30 years. She teaches actor workshops. Roberta says "working with hew playwrights is a challenge but they are what keeps theatre vibrant".

"....compelling drama...." - Diva Magazine, Brighton Fringe Festival '10

The two faces of Sandra Risser -Theatre and Comedy

The hardest working gal at the Fringe!!!! At 69 years of age Sandra's not slowing down. She's brought her two critically acclaimed one woman shows - a drama (Amy, Fate and Me) and stand-up comedy (American Cougar Of Comedy) - to the Edinburgh Free Fringe Festival. (http://sandrarisser.com/edinburgh)

Those who see both shows will notice the link between her self deprecating humor and the "lost" woman in her play.

"Like a fine red wine I just get better and better until the day I turn to vinegar." - Sandra Risser

There is no need to Book Tickets for Free Festival shows - just turn up 15 minutes before the performances. Please contact the venue for assistance with disability access
