More stories from THOUGHTS WHILE
WALKING THE DOG
LYNN RUTH MILLER returns with more stories that
dare you to love who you are. All ABOUT ME is the answer to all those enthusiastic
audiences who asked for more stories from Millers unusual life after they enjoyed
FAREWELL TO THE TOOTH FAIRY, and ANOTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR, last years Fringe
Festival hit.
Lynn Ruth Millers storytelling shows left
Edinburgh to entertain enthusiastic audiences in San Franciscos Off Market Theater
in the fall of 2006, and continued to enchant lovers of the spoken word at a variety of
venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area culminating in her Sunday Night Spring
Storytelling Series at the Red Vic Peace Café in that citys famed Haight/Asbury
district.
This new production combines childhood memories
from the thirties and forties with poignant biographical stories tinged with Millers
wry humor and off-the-wall take on life and was performed in 2006 in Edinburgh (An
Audience with Lynn Ruth Miller) and in Fresno California in March, 2009. The stories
presented in this production were selected from THOUGHTS WHILE WALKING THE DOG and MORE
THOUGHTS WHILE WALKING THE DOG, Millers acclaimed collection of columns that
originally appeared in The Pacifica Tribune. The show is 50 minutes of laughter and
tears seasoned with an unvarnished dose of reality. It is everyones story, old
as time and new as tomorrow. . . Not to be missed and suitable for family
audiences of all ages.
