David Kilimnick

David Kilimnick 'The Honest Rabbi'†Israelís first finalist of the Laugh Factory's 'Funniest Person in the World' competition, and dubbed Israel's "father of Anglo comedy" by the Jerusalem Post.†

At his Off The Wall Comedy Theater†(the first of its kind, which he has been running for over ten years in Jerusalem), Kilimnick has been offering up penetrating observations of life in his turbulent adopted country.††

In his last solo shows Kilimnick's material covers the rocky expat transition from his "New York Cocoon" as a religious Jew to his new life as a regular person in Israel. His universal humor takes you on a tour of funny through the Holy Land and his frustrations with being single and forty. You are sure to walk away entertained, enlightened, or with David.
His New Stand-up Solo Show-† 'The Honest Rabbi Preaches'
David Kilimnick puts on his rabbi hat and brings the rabbinical mind to the stage as he expresses his irreverence for what is wrong. Talking about the Jewish community's need to make synagogue more fun, Rabbi David will not allow for anymore off tune singing in our community.†
In his hilarious show of love for the Jewish people and religion, Rabbi David also deals with the real issues of how rabbis and clergy have to use easier words to understand than 'firmament,' so we can understand their sermons. Rabbi David will also approach kosher life, violent candy throwing at Bar Mitzvahs, the world's favorite country of Israel, and even the building fund that is still going on at your place of worship, all while dealing with the needs of the Christian and Muslim communities.
The show that talks about what it means to be a Jew and a good religious person who deserves heaven. Universal in nature, you don't have to be Jewish to appreciate Rabbi David's sermon of humor... anybody who has family and community they love, and a heart will be laughing.
