The Sheffield Revue is a student comedy society based at the University of Sheffield.
Founded in 2009 by the now defunct sketch troupe Fuddlepuck, our aim is to encourage students to pursue their comedic ambitions in whatever form they may take. Since 2009, we have blossomed into the veritable forest of funny we are today, and we are incredibly proud of all of our alumni and past members, including those who are at the 2019 Fringe: Sam Nicoresti, Tom Burgess, Glenn Moore, Martin Pilgrim, and, of course, our founder, Sean Morley.
Currently, we put on a variety of live shows featuring home-grown sketch and stand-up talents, as well as foraging into other media, such as podcasts, blogs and video. We also run regularly fertilised comedy workshops, details of which can be found beforehand on our Facebook page.
For any queries, including charity work, sponsorship, ideas for collaboration or just telling us to stop with the forestry analogies, please send us a message - I promise we'll answer you eventually! And we hope to see you at one of our shows at Edinburgh or beyond!
