Based in Swindon, Edward has been an actor for over 10 years, touring nationally and internationally, mainly doing Shakespeare, physical theatre and children's theatre. Favourite roles include Hamlet, Bottom, Malvolio, Pinocchio and King Lear.
"Day adorned his character with a medieval smorgasbord of physical and vocal ticks which brilliantly accentuated the bedlam. Two years of physical theatre training at Paris’ École Jacques Lecoq was two years exceptionally well spent by Day, whose Gollum-esque King Lear was captivating." - The Stage
He trained classically at ALRA and physically at Lecoq and in 2014 produced and toured his first self written play, In The Surface Of A Bubble:
"Day’s language is a flower-bomb of rich, thought-provoking imagery, it is kaleidoscopic and constantly evolving, and it truly pushes the boundaries of the imagination." - A Younger Theatre ****
"Clever, intriguing but funny and dark in equal measure, this piece provides a detached appraisal of the conflicting rules we live by." - West End Wilma ****
