Eri Borlaug

Eri Borlaug is a playwright, performance artist, activist, and producer. Past season: Jeff Seal: The Goddam Truth, (Producer) Edinburgh Free Fringe, UK; Phantasmagoria; or, Let Us Seek Death! (conceived and directed by Randolph Curtis Rand, written by Chana Porter; Producer) the Ellen Stewart Theater at LaMama Experimental Theater Club, NYC; and Helps to Hate You a Little: A Lovestory (by Ella Boureau, dir. Jaki Bradley; Producer) at Cloud City, Brooklyn. Favorite projects: Old Fashioned Prostitutes: A True Romance (Richard Foreman, The Public Theater; Devo Consultant), The Tribute Artist by Charles Busch (59E59 Theaters, Primary Stages; Development); You Will Make a Difference (West Park Presbyterian Church, AliveWire Theatrics; Producer); The Call by Tanya Barfield (Playwrights Horizons/Primary Stages; Development).  Plays: Twelve at the Fields (Lyric-Hyperion LA, Cloud City, PlayMachine), The Future Perfect (Primary Stages, NY Center for Rememberance and Sharing, AliveWire Theatrics), among others in collaboration with The Gene Frankel Theater, 13th Street Repertory Theater, Theater Breaking Through Barriers, and Dixon Place. BA The New School under Elana Greenfield; MFA Candidate Brooklyn College Playwriting under Mac Wellman, a native of the San Francisco Bay, Eri resides in Brooklyn.
