Henrietta Steventon is a comedian, actress and playwright. She is excited to be making her U.K. stand-up debut after the success of her original farce, Ennui: An English Comedy with a French Title for an American Audience, which she directed and starred in last summer at Theater for the New City, in New York.
Henrietta had her first professional role as ‘Gwyn’ in the television series The New Tomorrow for Channel 5 UK/Network 7 Australia. Since then, she has appeared in numerous theatrical productions in the U.K., USA, Australia and New Zealand and was also a member of the 2013-2014 YOD Theatre Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. Henrietta is currently studying at Columbia University in New York City. She most recently performed in the university’s satirical musical, The Varsity Show, known for alumni such as Rodgers and Hammerstein and Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon. Henrietta has also appeared in Off-off Broadway shows, as well as doing stand-up sets at UCB East and Laughing Buddha Comedy mics.
