Anna and Emily met roaming the summer festival circuit with ‘gypsy’ improvisors The One Hour Plays, and are both members of award-winning improvised comedy troupe BattleActs, with whom they are under commission to record a BBC Radio 1 podcast series in 2018. After a few years of making things up together on stage they decided to set some of their comedy down in writing by entering the world of sketch. At the end of 2015, EGG was born. Their debut hour-long show received rave reviews at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe and received a Funny Women Best Show nomination.
