The Ukeladeez started playing together after becoming housemates and enjoy nothing more than a good strum and playing about with the lyrics and arrangements of songs we love while drinking tea and gin and inhaling cake. Lady Sorbet (LJ Cook) got her name playing as interval entertainment at burlesque nights. As the musical palate-cleanser (almost literally) between breasts Lady Sorbet seemed a natural title. At this point we should stress that unless under exceptional circumstances our cardigans will remain firmly on during shows. While LJ plays the smaller Concert ukulele, gin buddy Carys Lewis plays the larger tenor uke and she is thrilled to have been named Tenor Lady as a result. Sponsorship deals beckon.
