Lachlan Werner-satirical comic, ventriloquist, sometime actor, rakish young anti-art enthusiast-tours the UK, shocking and amusing audiences with his iconoclastic creations (including the 'all American' (redneck) Uncle Alfie and the ego-maniac, psychic celebrity and thespian, Brew the Witch) . Since 2010 he has been commissioned for numerous festivals, variety shows and cabarets.
His theatre credits include: 'Billy Elliot' (Malvern theatres, Milton Keynes and Victoria Palace, London), Gershwin's 'Crazy for you', Kander and Ebb's 'Cabaret', Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights' (Ignite theatre company). In 2016 he created the role of Tim for 'Speak Up' (UK tour, Calanit theatre company).
Original solo ventriloquial works include: 'Who's Pulling the Strings?' (UK tour 2014), 'Pay No Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain' (Comic book studio/Sunshine Festival 2015) and 'Lachlan Werner's Godot' (commissioned by Nigel Holman, 2016). Upcoming: 'Belly Talk: A Language of Love'.
