Andy Stedman

"I don't want to overuse the word 'great, but Andy was a great compere. He connected well with the audience and wrote two love songs for a couple there who had been dating for one week. Very, very funny comic." - Martin Mullaney, Comedy CV & Cheeeky Monkey Comedy Club

"Stedman displays real talent in playing to his audience, creating and maintaining a friendly rapport which gives the show much of its charm." - Broadway Baby

"Stedman's voice is sure to melt hearts" - Uncut Magazine

Andy has performed over 250 comedy gigs in his cheeky, likeable manner since his first ever set in Dec 2014, including his debut hour "Nine Months & Counting" at Edinburgh Fringe 2016 which was a tongue-in-cheek look at his impending status as a new father. Away from the Fringe Andy has been busy playing gigs all over the UK on the pro circuit, mixing comedy songs and gags as his reputation as an act and an MC growing rapidly. Few acts have progressed as quickly in their career.

Prior to being a comedian Andy was a mildly successful singer-songwriter, gigging around the UK, Europe and America in the quest for the long lost hidden chord/lyric/huge record deal. He is also a keen sportsman, having captained Surrey Under 12's at cricket at his peak! His latest obsession is poker, especially his weekly cash game against stellar opponents from the comedy world (who canot be named!)

2017 sees Andy performing his new show, tentatively titled "What Would Elvis Do?'

That is the end of this biography, Andy has left the building...
