Jonathan has been involved with live comedy in one form or another for over 15 years. As a performer in the early 2000s he reached the semi-finals of 'So You Think You're Funny', 'BBC New Comedy Award' and the 'Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award'. He spent the next few years performing across London and the UK at venues including The Comedy Store. Moving away from live performance in 2005 he focused on writing for TV as well as a regular guest spot on talkSPORT radio. In 2010 he set up the comedy division of Red 24 Management, working creatively with some of the best up and coming comedians, as well as guest MCing at their popular 'Red in the Face' comedy nights. In 2014 he moved back to stand up on a more full time basis and this year sees him debut an Edinburgh show. His relaxed brand of comedy and easy way with an audience are in part down to the work he does as a quizmaster for an events company specialising in everything from nights at members clubs to large scale shows at Glastonbury, a role that saw him appear in Sky One's TV series 'Quiz Nights'.
