Frankie is a Welsh actress and stand up comedian now living in London. She performed her first stand up set at a charity gig back in 2009, and since then, has never looked back. Described (by herself!) as Swansea’s finest, all-singing, NON dancing lifeguard / cashier / failed teacher / thespian.
Frankie started performing professionally at the age of 17, and has had roles in many TV productions including The Bill, Little Britain and Casualty. When the casting calls ran out, she decided to take the big step into the world of stand up comedy. During this time she has supported some big names including Russell Kane, Paul Foot, Paul Tonkinson and Noel James; and in 2012 she took her first show to Edinburgh Fringe Festival - Frankie from the Valley.
She tells stories of her hometown, work, family, and her shock at discovering she is "a gay". The combination of occasional sing along songs mixed with her deadpan delivery style, contrast wonderfully in this one-woman variety show!
“Frankie has a fascinating, dry, almost deadpan delivery the likes of which I have rarely seen in other acts, her ease on stage comes across to the audience allowing them to relax and save their energy for the big laughs. Surely destined for big things” - (SIMON EMANUEL, JACK IN THE BOX COMEDY CLUB)
"One of the most groundbreaking female comics on the scene at the moment… She finds comedy in things other people haven"t really done before" - (IGNACIO LOPEZ - COMEDY SHEEP)
