Bonnie started performing stand up back in 2006, after taking part in a comedy workshop run by the legendary The Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh as part of The Glasgow Comedy Festival. Her first performance led to a paid gig, a whole £10! The world was Bonnie's oyster!
Later that year, Bonnie went on to be a semi finalist at the well known competitions So You Think You're Funny? and Funny Women before being banned from all Funny Women gigs for being needlessly crude and offence, which is something Bonnie is extremely proud of.
Bonnie also wrote and hosted a couple of radio shows ‘Mind The Crack’ on Leith FM and later ‘The Waiting Room’ for now debunked Error FM. After that things went horribly wrong in her personal life and Bonnie took off for 6 years of self imposed rural rehab amongst the hobbits of Shropshire.
After a nasty break up with Frodo, Bonnie returned to the pub function room with a full show ‘Revenge and Nine Other Ways to Lift Your Mood’. It was a bit rubbish but it put Frodo in his place and marked her return to stand up.
Bonnie has recently appeared on Fubar Radio with Justin lee Collins as the worst phone contestant ever. This brief on-air meeting coupled with an intimate off-air relationship with one of the producers, led to a whole month of unpaid work for Mark Dolan during The 2014 Edinburgh Fringe, where Bonnie fetched water for some rather well known comedians as they clambered for five stars.
A strange twist of fate led to Mark Dolan adopting her twin daughters, The Krays. Bonnie is yet to receive any maintenance.
Bonnie has written several screenplays, radio plays and a childrens book, none of which have been looked at by anybody other than her mum, and even that is a lie.
