Sophia Pauline began her career as a performer by starting her own company in 1983. She performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and at schools and festivals across the country as Sweet Pea the clown, with her unique style of mime, movement and storytelling.
She moved to Miami, Florida in 1990 to break into the movies, and ended up working for a local British Theatre in Education company based on Miami Beach. (It doesn't matter where you go, you always take yourself with you!)
Sophia became a teacher, a department head and a literacy leader in the local school system, and only dabbled in theatre from time to time, appearing in Pantomime for the British company, with her childhood heartthrob, the late Davy Jones of the Monkees.
Returning to the UK in 2012, Sophia tutors during term time. She brought her own show to the Fringe in 2016 and is back again this year with a further development of her creativity.
