For many years Augustus was a computer programmer, but he has given that up to work in performance, poetry, music and mental health. He writes and performs his own poetry and songs with a particular interest in mental health issues and awareness.
In 2015 he created a new show - Augustus and the Holy Grail - which he premiered at the Brighton Fringe and is now taking to Edinburgh Fringe for a three week run. This show reflects one of Augustus's passions - nudity. His search for the happiness that being naked brings and his effort to spread that message to others, with the aid of the Naked Rambler.
In 2014 he took his one-man-show 'This Way Madness Lies' to the Edinburgh Fringe as well as Buxton, Oxford and Milton Keynes. It is a raw and humorous tale of going mad and coming back again. A true story with songs, nudity and audience participation.
