I started doing stand-up around 2012, but due to family commitments, I have not persued as many gigs as should have over the last few years.
Around July 2012 I attended Stand-up workshops in Kirkcaldy in Fife which I think were arranged by The Stand, and wrote my own material with the help of Keir McAllister, Paul Sneddon (aka Vladimir McTavish), to name but a few. There were three workshops culminating in a gig at Styx in Kirkcaldy.
After this I have done about half a dozen gigs in total all open spots, and loved every minute, and the feed back from other performers was very positive.
I feel this will give me the incentive to get back out there and get some mic time.
