Mathilda Gregory was one of the winners of BBC Writer’s Room Laughing Stock competition in 2011. In 2012 her script Glitter was optioned by BBC3 as part of Funny on 3. In 2013 she was selected by Funny Women's Writing Award as 'One to Watch' and her play At Last reached the 3rd round of the Verity Bargate Award.
Under the pseudonym Mathilde Madden, Mathilda has written 6 novels for Black Lace. One of them won a Erotic Writer of the Year and one was the subject of a court case about whether werewolf erotica can have literary merit. Her live show on the subject Werewolf Erotica, She Wrote, will be performed in the Spiegeltent as part of Brighton Fringe. And at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014.
She has also written for Newsjack, Big Finish, contributes regularly to The Guardian and has 2 blogs one about feminism with jokes and one about fat clothes.
