Marc Burrows
Marc Burrows is a Stand Up Comedian, musician, journalist and bequiffed nerd from London, who likes doing silly jokes about bass guitar, sex, girls, indie bands, and not having sex with girls who play bass in indie bands. In his five year career he has performed across the UK, as well as mainland Europe and the USA and done several runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he was awarded ‘Best Free Show’ in 2011 by the Darkchat review website. He has also performed stand up at several music festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Green Man, Camp Bestival and Spain’s Benicassim. Away from comedy he plays bass in the acclaimed Victorianthemed Punk band The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, writes about music for the Guardian newspaper, DrownedInSound.com, Rocksound Magazine and theQuietus.com and generally lives a busy life. He has a girlfriend who deserves your sympathy, and two cats who don’t. Mostly harmless.
