Lizzie Roper is the founder of Loonatics at the Asylum, W1. A club she started in 2001 with Amanda Baker and now runs with Tom Price, Stan Stanley and Steve Ullathorne. Lizzie is a comedienne, actress, voice over artist and director. An Edinburgh Regular, she has performed, written, produced or directed 12 shows at the fringe since 1999. In 2000 she co-devised and directed Andrew Clover in his one man show, "Maurice Clark, A Man Of Substance in a World of Filth," for which he gained a nomination for Perrier best newcomer. In 2003 Lizzie took up her first one woman show, "Lizzie Roper-Through My Keyhole", of stand up and charcters, directed by Leisa Rea . She received great reviews for the show which transferred to the Soho theatre, where it was also a sell out. Lizzie has performed regularly on TV, as Trish in BBC1"s The Worst Week of My Life. She has also appeared in Coupling, Killing Time, Last Chancers, How do You Want Me? and Take it to the limit. She is also a voice over artists and regularly voices for BBC1, Animal Planet and numerous radio ads and cartoons.
