Jenny Eclair

With her trademark high-octane performances and earthy, eyebrow raising routines, Jenny is regarded as one the country’s best loved stand-up comediennes and is still the only woman to have won the coveted Perrier Award.

Not only a fine comic and TV performer, Jenny is also an accomplished actress, and has enjoyed West End success appearing in Steaming, Mum’s The Word and The Vagina Monologues. Jenny is also an established radio broadcaster, with regular slots on LBC and as a returning presenter and contributor on several Radio 4 shows including Home Truths. As a novelist, Jenny has enjoyed great acclaim for her book Camberwell Beauty and as a writer has contributed articles and columns for The Evening Standard, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mirror, She Magazine and Essentials Magazine.

A recognisable face to TV audiences with her regular contributions to So Graham Norton (Channel 4), Richard & Judy (Channel 4), Liquid News (BBC3), Celebdaq (BBC3), Jenny has also enjoyed her own series, Private Function (5) and has made appearances on Celebrity Weakest Link (BBC1) and Call My Bluff (BBC1).

She has also hosted The Perrier Awards (Channel 4), The BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC1) and the Eurovision Song Contest (BBC3). Jenny provided the voice overs for A Place In France (Channel 4) and Celebrity Fit Club (ITV1) and has voiced a number of TV commercials, for Horlicks, Danone, Special K, Anchor Butter and Persil.
