Mark Olver is a stand-up comedian and televison warm-up artist.
He spends most of his life working, performing in comedy clubs and TV studios all over the UK, and when not gigging is working his way through The Wire.
He has just completed the first leg of a national tour supporting Russell Howard, and as well as completing that tour will be appearing at festivals and clubs throughout the summer.
He is also involved in running his own gigs in Bristol, including the legendary Olver"s Student Comedy Night (coming to The Lanes in October) and Oppo Comedy at Channings in Clifton (also returning in October)
An experienced television warm-up, he is the regular warm-up on the little-seen Deal or No Deal and has also worked on other Endemol productions such as Kings of Comedy, FAQ U and Ready Steady Cook.
He is a regular warm-up artist for many production companies in the UK, and as well as Deal, the other high profile shows he has worked on include 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Vicar of Dibley.
