One of the bright young things to come out of Sydney"s DIY comedy renaissance, Dave Bloustien is a rare combination of comedian, improvisor and Gonzo academic. He"s also quite possibly the only comedian in Australia with a fully functional PhD.
Curently, Bloustien writes regularly for successful Australian comedy chat show The Glass House (ABC TV). In the past he"s also contributed to Comedy Inc. (Channel 9) and The Way We Were (ABC TV). He performs at festivals, impro galas, comedy venues and corporate gigs right across Australia and beyond.
His comedy career started in 2003, when he produced and performed in a showcase of new comedy talent called "Shock of the New" for the Adelaide Fringe with Nick Sun (winner of "So You Think You"re Funny" 2004) and Daniel Townes.
Dave is currently performing his debut solo show, "Middle Class Hero", in Sydney.
