Paul did his first comedy gig in January 2008. Since then he has performed at 800+ gigs. His set is gag-heavy with jokes based on personal experiences including: family, marriage and work. He's both bitter and sweet as he examines where his life went awry. Despite his complaints he prefers to hang onto the positives and see the funny side of life.
Paul is comfortable MCing and performing longer sets. He regularly gets paid work in and out of London with the likes of Electric Mouse, Mirth Control and The Comedy Pit. He has performed open spots at renowned comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Up the Creek and Banana Cabaret. Has beaten the infamous King Gong at The Comedy Store and reached the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act of The Year in 2010 and 2012. Paul ran his own London comedy club West End Comedy for over two years and was resident MC at Electric Mouse @ The Fox in Palmers Green. In 2011, Paul acted in the play DESPERADOS on the Camden Fringe and also appeared there in 2014 with his own show. Plus he has performed in his own shows at the Brighton Fringe Festival in 2014 and 2016.
Paul is a filmmaker too. Since graduating from Royal Holloway he has written feature films, short film scripts and a comedy sketch show. He's had short screenplays commissioned by production companies and produced his own short films under the www.fixfilms.com banner. Many have been screened at short film festivals countrywide.
