Michael Roulston and Sarah-Louise Young and have been writing and performing together for ten years, appearing at the Crazy Coqs, London Wonderground, Café de Paris, Macham Rooms, Hippodrome and Elgar Rooms, Royal Albert Hall and internationally in New York, Berlin and at the prestigious Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
They won Best Musical Variety Act in the London Cabaret Awards and were named one of Time Out's Top 10 Cabaret Acts.
Their four award winning ‘Cabaret Whore’ shows have sold out the Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre and their production about the life of Julie Andrews, ‘Julie Madly Deeply’, transferred to the West End after its triumphant Australian and UK tours.
As well as writing for themselves, they have contributed original work to the Terror Season at the Soho Theatre and Southwark Playhouse and have written songs with numerous acts, including Marcel Lucont, Lili La Scalla, Ophelia Bitz, Clementine Living Fashion Doll and this year’s TO&ST winner, Lynn Ruth Miller. They also collaborated with Emmy nominated Fascinating Aida on their Cheap Flights tour, in which Sarah-Louise guested.
