Often described as a female Jack Dee (but less attractive), India discovered in late 2010 that stand-up comedy provided the perfect cover to indulge her passion for travelling around the country late into the night for little money and even less recognition. Since then she has been wowing audiences around London and the rest of the UK with her observational, cutting humour and quick-fire jokes. She has performed at venues such as Comedy Café, Downstairs at the Kings Head, The Comedy Store and Up the Creek, where in 2011 she was a Finalist in the ‘One to Watch’ competition. In June 2012 she was named one of the 10 recommended acts in the Funny Funny’s Female Comedian of the Year 2012 competition.
In August 2012 she will perform her first three-person show, ‘Deadpan Alley’ at the Camden Head as part of the Camden Fringe.
