Dalia Malek started stand-up in London, UK. She performed in major clubs, theaters, and universities all over the country and became a finalist in several national competitions like the Chortle Student Comedy Award and the Reading Comedy Festival competition. She regularly performs in the Edinburgh Fringe, including Christian Knowles Productions' Lunchtime Special show. Her comedy was broadcast on BBC Radio, and she also performed in Latitude Festival, Egypt's first ever Cairo Comedy Festival, and Electric Picnic in Ireland.
After returning to California she took improv and sketch at Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade, performed in major clubs like the Ice House, Flapper's, Mad House Comedy Club, the Punch Line, the Laugh Factory, the Hollywood Improv, and the Comedy Store, and she appeared in the All Jane Comedy Festival, Ha Ha Harvest Comedy Festival, Desi Comedy Fest, the Second City LA Diversity Comedy Festival, the New Urbanism Film Festival, and SF Sketchfest.
She now hosts and produces her shows Interruption Show and Ground Floor in the SF Bay Area, San Diego, and LA.
