Dalia Malek started stand-up in London, UK. She performed in major clubs, theaters, and universities all over the country and became a finalist in several national competitions like the Chortle Student Comedy Award and the Reading Comedy Festival competition. Her comedy was broadcast on BBC Radio, and she also performed in Latitude Festival, as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival three times, including Christian Knowles Productions' Lunchtime Special show. She also performed in Egypt and Ireland.
After returning to California she took improv and sketch at Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade, performed in major clubs like the Ice House, Flapper's, Mad House Comedy Club, the Punch Line, the Laugh Factory, the Hollywood Improv, and the Comedy Store, and she appeared in the Desi Comedy Fest, the Second City LA Diversity Comedy Festival, the New Urbanism Film Festival, and SF Sketchfest.
She now hosts and produces Ground Floor and Interruption Show at the All Out Comedy Theater in the San Francisco Bay Area. She will appear at Electric Picnic in Ireland in 2018.
