Regular headliner of clubs such as Piccadilly Comedy and The Invisible Dot – Amir is a truly original comedian with a hypnotic, compelling, story-telling style that draws an audience. This slightly awkward, subtle and off-beat style of comedy captures an audience’s attention before he’s even said a word. When he does eventually start speaking, Amir takes his crowd on one hell of a journey.
Amir’s natural ability and comedic manner has seen him reach the finals of many prestigious competitions: So You Think You're Funny, Leicester Square New Comedian, BBC New Comedy Awards and English Comedian of the Year before going on to win the title of the Piccadilly Comedy Club’s New Comedian Award.
A star in the making, Amir continues to spin his wonderful comic tales (about very little) across the UK’s top clubs and venues. Last year, he performed a 45 minutes show ‘Milk & Hedgehogs’ at the Edinburgh Fringe, which was hailed as One To Watch by the Independent and Time Out.
Amir recently supported Harry Hill and Tony Law for The Invisible Dot.
