Tony Baxter

Bony Tony has appeared in various places across Manchester and Liverpool, such as Greggs and bus stations, but also has done comedy / musical gigs in many places over the last few years. He is very daft and has different colour hair every day.

Bony Tony has his own solo show, The Daft Show, at Surgeons’ Hall Theatre 3 for the full run, at approximately midday. He will then join Tom for this show, which is different, but equally daft.

The solo show (and any other shows Tom does) will be of assistance in publicising this show, in addition to being in more than one brochure and by using other marketing methods.

Tom Short’s genuine friendliness has earned him fans with almost everyone he comes across, who fall in love with his charm, energy and quick wit. Tom is cut from a different cloth – coming from Salford, being brought up working class and having meagre beginnings in an environment that stamped out differences and creativity, he rose through this and is authentically himself for all to see, and this endears him to every audience member he performs in front of. This has been described as ‘stealth comedy, the best kind’ (The Skinny).

Tom has performed with Comedy Sportz (improv group) for 5 years – they played the Free Sisters last year and pulled in large crowds. He has also played the Comedy Store for Kids and The Stand Comedy Club for Kids. Not only that but he has hosted his own show at the Fringe for the last 3 years, Comedy Shorts (at which Bony Tony guested).
