About Us & Help

Damian kingsley

Damian first started stand up in Tokyo and, after his first few gigs, he headed back to the UK to work on the circuit. In his first few years, he reached the final (or was runner up ) of several prestigious national new act competitions and quickly progressed to regular paid work at the established clubs. Stylistically, he mixes dry observations with jokes and storytelling. As well as performing on the club circuit, he has performed several shows at Brighton, Leicester and Edinburgh fringe festivals. In 2016 he did a 120 gig tour with no money or transport, from Land's End to Edinburgh for the bad housing and homelessness charity, Shelter, raising over £17,000. The tour culminated in his 2016 Edinburgh fringe show, Knock Knock, which was well recieved by critics and audiences and was subsequently booked for Buxton Comedy Festival, Cambridge Festival of Ideas etc. In 2017 he returned to the Fringe with his well-received stand up show, "Can't Dance, Won't Dance" about his phobia of dancing and his hugely popular format, "The Ultimate Comedy Championship", co-hosted with Jason Neale and Alex Hylton.
