Gary Colman

Geordie funny man Gary Colman is neither a small black midget nor the world’s worst ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ tribute act but a critically acclaimed, fresh new stand-up comedian.

Gary first hit the comedy scene in 2009 when he was finalist in three national new comedy awards; Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, TV Comedy Forum 'Future of TV Comedy' at Soho Theatre, and Jongleurs New Act of the Year. In the same year he was also nominated for Best Male Comedy Actor in the ‘2Days Laughter’ short film festival.

In 2012 his first Edinburgh Show ‘Still Rarely Rong’ , a cute and heart-warming show about the disembowelling horror of family life, gained him 4 and 5 star reviews . He returned with his equally successful 2013 follow-up show ‘GRIND’,detailing his former career as reluctant hedonist and professional snowboarder. His current 2014 show ‘ChUNT (the verb to grumble) details his year living with the Samburu Tribe of Northern Kenya. It has also attracted 4 star reviews.

Gary is resident emcee at The Fox Comedy Club Palmers Green and the infamous Fortnight Club Leicester Square and is also a regular performer at comedy clubs across the UK.
