  A New venue for 2010, the Reverie is a bar
situated on the busy Newington Road, a few minutes from the Queens hall and close to our
other venues at the Metropole Cafe, Meadow Bar and the Argyle. Newington Road is a very busy road, which is the continuation of
North Bridge/South Bridge/Nicolson Street and South Clerk St - leading straight from the
Royal Mile.
The performance area is in the main bar of the venue, and
as such is only suitable for music performances, and one off band gigs.
Performance Space: The
Bar
Stage - Flat floor space located at the
end of the bar (by the red wall in the image to the right)
Seating - Capacity is 120 people with 60 people seated
Lighting - General bar Lighting
Sound - As this room is expected to be for bands only, there
is no built in PA system, and performances are possible acoustically or with bands
bringing PA equipment with them. A small portable PA and microphones may be available.
 Audio Visual - No AV equipment is
available at this venue.
Storage - There is a very small storage area at the venue.
Bar - The bar is open throughout the day with a late license until
3am.
