Matt Rudge grew up in Somerset, with a Glaswegian mother and a Brummie Dad. It was
therefore unsurprising he was a bit weird. At an early age his skill for accents and
impressions led to him being exploited for various cartoons and radio programs made by
companies including ITV, BBC, King Rollo, HTV and Zenith. Everyone, it seems, loves a
weird kid.
TV roles eventually followed, although not immediately quite so illustrious. As a
teenager, he was employed to be a body double for an injured Dick on The Famous Five. As
another claim to fame Matt may be the only person to have died twice on BBCs
Casualty, in two separate episodes, as two different characters. Once by smoke inhalation,
once by brain haemorrhage. That's medical negligence.
Matt went on to later present off the wall reports for The Wright Stuff on Channel 5. He
was forced to don gimp suits, thongs and skirts, all apparently in the aid of current
affairs. More presenting work followed, including ITV's Record of the Year, BBC Breakfast,
ITV News and BBC3 News. Matt was also the voice over on Channel 4's Kings of Comedy. Last
year Matts podcasts for GCap media (Capital Radio/Xfm) hit the top of their charts
and got over 20,000 hits in a matter of days.
Matt has been performing stand-up all over the UK and Ireland, receiving great reviews,
storming comedy competitions and receiving award nominations all the while.

In a mix of warm story-telling, obscure social theory, and bone-dry satire, Brophy takes
audiences for a journey inside his head and out of time.
Richard Brophy is young comedian and writer hailing from the worlds most isolated city.
Brophy's unique takes on his chubby childhood, larrakin adolescence and recent travels are
peppered with obscure analogies that will have you wondering just what goes into the water
in Perth, Western Australia.
Brophy first cut his teeth on the local circuit in 2001, before completing a stint in the
US (2004/5), then coming to settle in the UK. The last 2 years have seen Brophy earn a
reputation as a friendly, original, surefire comedian, and at 24, he's also a positive
facet of the future of comedy.
Brophy has performed all over the world, in venues that range from The Blue Door in Aspen,
Colorado to the Comedy Store London. Brophy is an accomplished song and film writer, as
