The venue is also in close proximity of the Playhouse Theatre, Highlight and the Omni Centre - surrounded by popular bars and Restaurants on this busy road. It is a short 5 minute walk from Princes street, and 10 minutes from The Stand, The Jekyll & Hyde and the Assembly Rooms.

The venue offers attractive and comfortable facilities with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a recently refurbished performance space (2010). There are two fully licensed bars, with a wide selection of spirits, beers and lagers. The football club is a club premises, and as such the drink prices - which are not raised for August - are the cheapest drinks in any Fringe venue.  

The two performance spaces are on the Ground Floor (located up a flight of stairs from the street). Upstairs is the main bar with a comfortable lounge bar atmosphere.

Room 1 is the main performance space, and is suited to all types of performance, and Room 2 is a similar sized room that is available for talks, courses, presentations and meetings. The venue's walls have also been used successfully in the last two years as a space for Art exhibitions.

Performance Space: Room 1

Stage - 6ft x 6ft raised stage area, raised to 4 inches. Backstage area behind curtain, no Wing space, however exit and entry is possible from venue entrance/exit to stage right and left. Stage space can be increased by removing front row of seats. 

Seating - Capacity is 60, fully seated.

Lighting - 1xFixed par Can to Flood light the stage. Additional Lighting can be supplied by companies and fixed as required.

Sound - The room is supplied with an 6 channel mixer (4xXLR, 4xJack, 2xPhono Inputs). The room has 2xCD Players, 2xMicrophones and 2xMic stands. Any additional sound equipment can be supplied by performing companies and stored at the venue.

Audio Visual - There is a 24" Television near the stage that can be used for presentations. There is no other AV equipment, but the room is well suited for performers who wish to bring projectors/screens etc.  

Storage - There is a small area for storage at the venue for props and equipment, shared with other groups.

Bar - The bar in the room is closed during performances.

Performance Space: Room 2

Room two is on the ground floor opposite room one, and has been used previously for stand-up comedy courses and teaching workshops. Seats and microphones are available for this small room and there is a variety of set-ups available, however there is not a dedicated stage set-up or permanent system, so the room is not suitable for comedy, music or theatrical performances.
