The latest show from Ian Saville, the socialist magician. Ian investigates the real meaning of money. Where does it come from? Do we really need it? Who's got it all, and how can we get it back? Ian consults experts, and his financial adviser, who turns out to be a dummy. Of course, Karl Marx will appear, but also some new characters, and some new tricks. And in keeping with the theme, this show will be set at a distance from the cash nexus, and nobody has to pay to get in. You don't even have to pay to get out (though if you want to contribute some money on the way out, in order to enable Ian to continue to exist within capitalist society, you're welcome to do so). Ian has spent the past thirty years developing the genre of socialist magic, delighting audiences with a unique approach to illusion, ventriloquism, comedy and theatre. Perhaps this project will explain why, despite his obvious talents and abilities, he remains on the borderline of being skint.
