What if a gay woman, gay man, and straight woman had equal stage time to muse on sex and dating? Fed up with the predominantly straight white male perspectives offered, Veronica Elizabeth, Kenny Neal, and Alyssa Wolff dreamed up the Gay Straight Alliance—an LGBT friendly comedy show that breaks down barriers, exposing the fact that everyone is awful—regardless of his or her orientation. From the popular monthly show at the historic Stonewall Inn. Veronica Elizabeth is an "...intense New Yorker who takes no prisoners" with a "slick and assured sarcasm" (TheaterJones.com). Kenny Neal was bored of being just another gay, so he became a writer, comedian and actor dedicated to dispelling stereotypes and proving that straights and gays are equally awful. Alyssa Wolff is thrilled to be putting the "straight" in the Gay Straight Alliance. A Harvard graduate, Alyssa has performed as a stand-up comic all over New York at Gotham, Broadway and New York Comedy Clubs, Stand-Up New York, the TriBeCa Comedy Club, as well as on the road, and co-produces the "Comedy Anomaly" show at Fontana's Bar.
