 With such a huge
selection of quality, interesting, experimental and alternative shows, as always we are really
putting the alternative back into the Fringe - and making it the open arts festival it should be.
Take a chance on an unknown show... and see something different or unexpected... that is what the
Fringe is all about! And with the Free Festival you can do this without it costing a fortune! All
we ask is when you enjoy the shows, do give the performers a donation at the end of the show when
they ask! With so many shows to choose from, there was
really no need to go anywhere elsewhere and pay high prices for comedy, theatre, music,
cabaret, children's shows or anything else at the Fringe... We're there with shows to keep you
entertained from late morning, until the early hours the following morning, every day!

The
Laughing Horse and Free Festival are back in Edinburgh this year with huge a programme of 6,184
performances and 352 shows - at 17 fabulous venues around Edinburgh - the biggest ever selection
of free Fringe shows in Edinburgh... 
In 2011 you can
see everything from teenage comedians to spaghetti juggling - Award winning
performers, Exciting Theatre, and the best bands with the third year of the Free Music
Festival. There really is something for everyone, with an expanded childrens section,
right through to late night shows and nightclubs that are strictly adults only!
