• If you are a performer looking for gigs at Laughing Horse clubs please contact us on info@laughinghorse.co.uk - we only book by email to keep a record of all bookings, so please don't phone or use facebook/myspace.
• If you are an new act we offer open spots at some of our clubs, or you may be interested in our comedy courses, or new act competition.

Turning Up (New Acts/Open Spots)

• All acts, except the headline act, should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the show unless otherwise agreed with the promoter - usually this is 8pm - this is so we can organise a running order, particularly in the centre of London shows which involve a number of new acts. If you arrive late we reserve the right to replace you with another act.
• If you cannot perform at a show you have booked - call the promoter to cancel as soon as possible, don't just not bother turning up. Any acts that do not turn up for a show without letting us know will not be booked for any future shows.
• Please allow plenty of time to reach your gig, public transport is notoriously unreliable, much like the weather.
• Full maps and directions for all venues can be found on this website.
• If you are not booked for a show there is no guarantee you will be able to get a gig on-spec. Please check with the promoter  if you are looking for a last minute spot.
• If you are contacting us at the last minute - phone, don't email.

Turning Up (Paid Support Acts/Second Top/Headliners)

• Headline acts, in most cases, should arrive at the venue for 9.30pm, this will be confirmed at the time of booking. Any queries, please contact the promoter. If you cannot arrive by then please ensure you have spoken to the promoter to arrange your time. Every effort will be made to assist when you are doubling up.
• Second Top acts - closing the first half - please arrive by 8.30pm.
• Paid Support - you will have been told an arrival time by the promoter, please stick to this.
• In all cases, turn up at the time arranged with the promoter - if there are transport problems please contact the promoter to tell us when you will be arriving. In all cases we reserve the right to replace you with another act if you have not arrived at the agreed time.

Performing

• Please stick to your allotted time - this is usually 5 mins for Open spots and new acts.

France and Monaco

• Accommodation is provided in a Four Star Hotel, and all meals and drinks will be free for the duration of the stay. Flights are paid for in advance, and all internal transport is provided for you. The only expense you will need to meet is travel from and to your home from the UK Departure airport.
• Please remember the South of France is very expensive - if you smoke, take cigarettes with you. If you drink, accept the free drinks from the venues instead of going elsewhere.
