New Year and Hogmanay Shows 2007-2008

Come and welcome in 2008 with us - we have parties to celebrate the start of 2008 at venues across London and in Edinburgh... See below for details of the parties in Edinburgh, and across London in Richmond, Kingston, and Camden....

Kevin McCarron - one of the Leading Kiwi comics performing in the UK today, "Brilliantly Quick Witted" - Time Out; "Top London Comic" - Liberty radio; "Great Comedy" - Evening Standard. Jay Sodagar - A top Asian comic (and one who proposed to his girlfriend, now wife, at this show two years ago) - "What show could be without the rapier wit of Jay Sodagar" - The BBC. Richard Coughlan - fresh from the 2007 Fringe after sell-out performances. "utterly side-splitting comedy genius;   fantastic!" - Three Weeks. Plus Laughing Horse Regular act at our venues in Richmond and Oxford Circus, Nigel Taylor, and Irish comedienne Grainne Maguire - "The dry mastery of a Father Ted script’ – Chortle

We do still have tickets remaining at our Kingston venue, which is a short Journey from Richmond by public transport, and is served by 24hour Bus and train services to/from Richmond and London on New Years eve - see Below...

Kevin Shepherd - Manic energy and a cheeky personality from this regular Laughing Horse Act - "20 or so minutes with as many jokes as some comedians manage in an hour" - the BBC. Donald Mack - performing after sell-out shows at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe - "A Great Show" - Three Weeks. Highly experienced and engaging  comedienne Juliet Meyers - "Devilishly quick and capable of running with the weirdo in the audience, milking any situation for hilarity, keeping the laughter coming consistently." Edinburgh Evening News. Regular Laughing Horse Performers Lewis Bryan and Aggie Elsdon - "Aggie Elsdon is a bundle of well-matured fun and a beacon of hope for us all" - The Scotsman.

Clyde West - The "highly experienced" (Time Out) comic with over a decade of performances behind him, headlining at clubs across the UK. Mike Manera - a regular compere and performer from all across the comedy circuit - "You will still be talking about this guy weeks after seeing him" NME; "A comedy force" Time Out. With Dizzy High - a regular compere of 'Upstairs at the Queens Head' and compere Sion James - with two years of Four star reviews in his Edinburgh show "The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly". Vladimir McTavish - with a delightful feast of social observation and topical satire, seasoned with his caustic wit and presented via a platter of breakneck-pace patter "Needle-sharp observations on the British pysche" - Guardian. Jojo Sutherland - One of Scotland's leading female comics - "Far funnier and more inventive than anyone has the right to expect" Evening News; Rick Molland - Resident compere of Edinburgh's fabulous "Heresy" Club. Dan Willis - International sell-out Festival globetrotting comic comes up to Edinburgh to celebrate Hogmanay - "confident, solid and amusing" - Chortle" and hilarious Glaswegian Neil McFarlane.
