Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2018....

Following a two year break, the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year Competition is back in 2018 with heats running through the year from January 2018, leading to a final at the end of November. We're aiming to scour the whole country to find the very best new comedians

Do you want to Win a 500 Cash Prize as well as smaller heat winner prizes?

Do you want to win a place part in a show at the 2019 Brighton & Edinburgh Fringes?

Do you want the opportunity to be seen by Promoters and bookers of a number venues in the UK, as well as promoters at UK, Asian and Australian Festivals?  As well as Laughing Horse Comedy and Festivals, Laughing Panda Productions and Laugh Train Home will be using these night to talent search for new comedians.

  Do you want to try to perform in a grand final and be seen by a panel of industry experts, agents, reviews and bookers?

Do you want to try and follow in the footsteps of previous finalists and winners like Jack Whitehall, Russell Kane, Greg Davies, Rhod Gilbert and many more stalwarts of the comedy scene.

Heats run throughout the year in London, with National heats listed here through the year - there are heats currently scheduled in Edinburgh and Brighton, and more will be added to cover the North of England, Midlands, Wales and Ireland.

London Heats

A weekly show each Monday Night at The Savoy Tup. Heats run every week on Mondays from 15th Jan to 11th June, and then September 10th until October 29th

Brighton Heats

21st May 2018 at The Quadrant

Edinburgh Heats

August 6th, 13th & 20th at The Three Sisters

More National heats to be added soon.


Will be held in a big venue in central London at the end of November 2018.
