 The
Quadrant is our original Brighton Fringe venue, which is located very centrally,
opposite the clock tower, at the junction of the very busy Queens Road, North Street and
West Street. It is just around the corner from the main bus station and shopping centre,
and on the main road between the station and the seafront, a short walk from all of the
main venues including the Dome, and Komedia. (Map at bottom
of page). The Quadrant was nominated for Best venue at the 2009 &
2010 Brighton Fringe, and 2012 will be the
fourth year of Fringe shows at this
venue. The Quadrant was refurbished in late
2008, and retains a traditional bar feel to it, and it is a popular local bar in the
centre of town. It is a good priced central bar, that also offers food. The main bar is
situated over two levels with a quirky and comfortable layout, with the benefits of an
Outdoor seating area to the rear, with food and drink available to audiences all day. It
is surrounded by streets on three sides, allowing for maximum potential for advertising
space, and poster boards are located around the venue throughout the Fringe. |
